George C. Llewellyn, 74, of Clayton, died at 7:05 a.m. Monday (September 7, 2020) with his companion by his side at Golden Good Shepherd Home.
Born April 12, 1946, in Danville, PA., George was a son of Martin and Pauline Schroder Llewellyn.
George was active with boy scouts and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed Texas Holdem' with his family.
George was employed at Ceiling Groves Center in Pennsylvania for several years.
He is survived by his companion, Linda Crook, her three children, Larry (Bonnie) Crook, Tim (Michelle) Crook, Franny Crook; three children of his own, several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brothers and sisters, Shirley (late husband Fred) Burgenstock, Jim (Joyce) Llewellyn, Harry Koser (companion Mary Davis), all of Danville, PA., and Roger Llewellyn, Baltimore, MD; and his sister in law, Shirley Llewellyn, Clayton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Don and Chester (Faye) Llewellyn; and two sisters, Mary (Frank) Mincks, and Jean (Carl) Stetler.
George was cremated. A memorial service will be held Monday (September 14) at 10:00 a.m. at the Clayton Christian Church. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, those wishing to attend the service are asked to please refrain from hugging or shaking hands and remember to follow all social distancing guidelines. Memorials may be made to the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton.
