Kevin Wayne Winebrinner, age 60 of Golden Illinois, died at 8:00am Thursday August 13th, 2026, at his home .

Kevin grew up in Golden, Illinois, where he developed the strong work ethic and determination that would define his life. At just 16 years old, he began working in auto body repair, discovering a talent that became his life’s passion. Through years of dedication and hard work, he fulfilled his dream of owning his own auto body business. Kevin was widely known for his exquisite craftsmanship and took great pride in every vehicle he restored. His attention to detail and commitment to doing things the right way earned him the respect of customers, friends, and fellow craftsmen alike.

Kevin was stubbornly independent, never one to back down from a challenge. Those who knew him understood that behind his tough exterior was a man who deeply loved his family. Some of his happiest moments were spent visiting with his children and grandchildren, working out in his garden, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, and listening to his favorite rock music out in his shop.

Kevin leaves behind his daughter, Nichole (Takoda Cantrell) Winebrinner, his son, Austin (Michaela) Winebrinner; and his cherished grandchildren, Abigail Dearwester and Olivia, Madison, and Mason Winebrinner. He is also survived by his father, David (Kathy) Winebrinner, his siblings, Mark Winebrinner, Jennifer(Kevin)Young, Rebecca(Erik) Ihle, Jamie(Chris) Reinold, David Jr Winebrinner, and Wesley Winebrinner, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Kevin was proceeded in death by his mother, Betty Bangert-Winebrinner.

Kevin’s legacy lives on through the work of his hands, the memories he created with those he loved, and the countless lives he touched throughout the years. He will be remembered for his unmatched craftsmanship, his determination, his independent spirit, and, most importantly, his love for his family.

Though he is no longer with us, Kevin will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His memory will continue to inspire us, and he will be deeply missed every day.
