Patricia Taute

Patricia J. Taute, 73, of Quincy, formerly of Golden, died at 3:34 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Born February 25, 1948, in Quincy, Pat was the daughter of Harold and Marylyn Bridgman Cantrell.  She married James E. Taute on August 19, 1972, in Golden, IL. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2018.
Pat was employed in the agriculture accounting industry throughout her career. She enjoyed traveling, but most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Nordstrom (Patrick), Wyanet, IL.; her son, Kevin Taute (Heather), Liberty; four granddaughters, Jenna and Ashley Nordstrom, Wyanet, IL., and Claire and Leah Taute, Liberty; two sisters, Betty Harberts, Berthoud, CO., and Lynda Kelly (Larry), Quincy; two brothers, Gerald Cantrell (Pat), Brownsburg, IN., and Donald Cantrell (Cheryl), Camp Point; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
Private family interment will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Great River Honor Flight.
