Larry Roberts

Larry E. Roberts, 64, of Augusta, IL died at 8:49 pm Sunday January 10, 2021 in Rushville, IL.

He was born on June 30, 1956 in Macomb, Il to Jerald and Roberta Downing Roberts. He married Laura Neill on June 6, 1981 in Augusta, IL. She survives.

Larry was a self employed truck driver for many years. He attended Augusta Schools. Larry was an avid NASCAR fan and cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son, Chris (Brandi) Roberts of Augusta, Il, 5 grandchildren, Bishop, Landen, Aundre, Juneau and Vincent Roberts, 2 brothers, Rick (Elizabeth Diane) Roberts and Rod Roberts of Argenta, IL, an uncle, Kenny Roberts of Augusta and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mike Roberts.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday January 14, 2021 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date in Woodlawn cemetery in Augusta, IL.

Memorials may be made to his family to help with expenses.
