Obituary

Judy Kay Easley, 72, of Tennessee, IL entered into heaven, on Monday July 26, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, IA.

She was born on March 30, 1949 in Macomb, IL to Frank and Vera (Creasy) Clark. Judy was a graduate of Colchester High School and attended the Burlington, IA Beauty Academy. She married Dennis (Zeke) Williams in July of 1969 and later married Jim Easley in September of 1972.   She owned and operated her own beauty salon as well as managed deli/bakeries in NC & SC.  She later opened The Country Bake Shop in Colchester, IL.  She was an active member of the Colchester United Methodist Church. Judy cherished all the times that she spent attending her grandchildren’s sporting events & activities, and spending time with her beloved dog Carly. Her grandchildren all called her “Nanny” and they all would introduce her as such, she was not just known as Judy.  She had a best friend in South Carolina, Martha (Winston) Tyler, she also had a special friend, Tom Manuel, whom she spent a lot of time with.  

She is survived by her 2 sets of twin children; Dennis Williams of Colchester, IL and Deidre Carson of Tennessee, IL and Jennifer (Allen Wiskirchen) Easley of LaGrange, MO and Jannell (Joe) Ratcliff of Astoria, IL, 12 grandchildren; Makenzie, Hunter, Blaine and Chance Williams, Hannah and Bryce Nelson, Brenden, Jacob and Gabi Kreps, Taylor (Andrew) Boland, Breckon McKinney and Bailey (Zeke) Schieferdecker and 5 Step grandchildren; Haley (Jared) Lascelles, Allyson, DJ, Daisy and Dawson Ratcliff, and a brother, Ronnie (Martha) Clark of Colchester, IL. as well as a niece Carol Lawson and 2 nephews, PJ and Jeff Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Vera Clark.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday August 2, 2021 at the Colchester United Methodist Church, in Colchester, IL. Rev. Jim Clayton will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held Sunday August 1, 2021 from 2-5pm at the Colchester United Methodist Church. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s cemetery near Colmar, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to Colchester United Methodist Church or Colchester Rescue Squad.

 The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
