Wilma Meador

     Wilma Meador, 97, of Mt. Sterling, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at her home.
     Born August 2, 1925, in Chestline, IL., Wilma was the daughter of John and Fern Likes Graham.  She married Clyde Meador on March 22, 1946, in Quincy, IL. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2005.
     Wilma was a devoted mother who cherished the time she spent with her family. She loved playing games, especially Dominos and doing puzzles. Her greatest joys came from the time she spent with her grandchildren.
     Survivors include four sons, Clyde Meador and his wife Wanda, Alan Meador and his wife Ruthie,  John Meador and his wife Delores, and Daryl Meador; four daughters, Becky Meador, Melanie Brunson, Gail Myers and her husband John, and Rhonda Mowen and her husband Kenneth; 25 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Barbara Funke; and her five brothers.
     Funeral services will be held Monday, April 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton. Burial will follow at the Kingston Cemetery, Kingston, IL.
     Visitation will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton.
     Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or the family.
