Wayne Nicolai
Wayne V. Nicolai, 96, of Eastside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield, formerly of Camp Point, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the home.
Born June 29, 1924, in Adams County, Wayne was a son of Amos and Clara Henrick Nicolai. Wayne had been a lifelong farmer in the Camp Point area. He also raised horses. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Coatsburg.
Survivors include his sister, Deloris Bunte, Quincy; his nephew, Daryl Bunte (Cheryl), Hannibal, MO.; his great-nephew, Adam Sparrow (Jeff), Pillager, MN ; and his great great nephew, Tucker Bunte, Pillager, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Nicolai, two brothers, Dale Nicolai and Raymond in infancy; and his brother-in-law, Glenn Bunte.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15 at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Camp Point.
Visitation will be held Saturday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
