Waneta F. Farlow, 93, of Adams Pointe Assisted Living in Quincy, IL passed away at 10:53 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the home.
Born December 1, 1930, in Quincy, IL, Waneta was the daughter of Elmer and Neva McFarland Steinagel. She married Dale H. Farlow on November 30, 1950, in the Methodist Church in Columbus, IL. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2020.
Mrs. Farlow was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and made special quilts for all of her grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Tom Farlow (Nancy), Sheridan, WY, Mickey Farlow, Oswego, IL, and Gary Farlow (Susan), Fowler, IL; eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Mabel Knorr Steinagel, her husband; and her daughter-in-law, Joyce McCoy Farlow.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point by Pastor Tom Robbins. Burial will follow at Quincy Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held Friday, (May 24, 2024) from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point for missions ministry.
