Victoria "Vicky" Cooley

A beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and wife, Victoria “Vicky” Kemper, 54, of Clayton, IL, passed away at 8:24 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, at her home.

Vicky was born August 6, 1971, in Rushville, IL, the daughter of Edward and Shirley Collins Kemper. She married Jeffrey G. Cooley on August 29, 2020. He survives.

Vicky had a passion for dogs, reading, and puzzles. She loved riding side-by-sides and listening to live music. She also loved the color purple, butterflies, and Dolly Parton.

Vicky enjoyed having a good time and was always the life of the party. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, Nicki Fearneyhough, Haley Dean (Ben), Cory Deming, Kelley Cooley (Jordan), Madison Carr, and Kimberly Cooley; her grandchildren, Rilynn, Raylee, Rodney, Raynah, Mayleigh, Taegan, Kylie, Kaitlynn, Elizabeth, and Ainsley; her mother, Shirley Kemper; her sister, Becky Cookson (Ron); and many in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward L. Kemper, whom she now joins in Heaven.

Vicky was cremated. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at South Side Cemetery in Clayton by Rev. Sheri Renner.
