      Tom Post, 58, of Quincy, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2022 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

     Born September 22, 1963, in Quincy, IL., Tom was a son of Eugene and Marilyn Mae Gibbons Post.

     Tom was a certified motorcycle mechanic, but had mostly recently worked as a farm hand. He was an outdoorsman who loved grilling and watching tractor pulls. His greatest joys came from the time he spent with his family.

     Survivors include his mother, Marliyn Ervin (John), Quincy; his significant other, Fran Peters, Quincy; his step children, Jennifer Bigsby, Quincy, Andrea Trenter, Monroe City, MO., and Dustin Peters (McKenzie Decker), Quincy; his step grandchildren, Aydan Bigsby, Braxton Trenter, Jaxon Trenter, Kanyn Boley, Karsyn Bartz, Brystal Decker, and Wesson Peters; his sister, Sue Post Osborne, Adrian, MI.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene; his brother in law, Randy Osborne, a nephew, John Dunmire, and his father and mother in law, Wayne and Kathleen Mowen.

     Tom was cremated. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23 at Wolf Ridge Cemetery near Camp Point by Rev. Sheri Renner.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Fran Peters, 1834 Maple, Quincy, IL. 62301.
