Todd B. Petersen, 57, of Augusta, IL died at 12:02 pm Tuesday April 25, 2023 at his home in Augusta.

He was born on August 2, 1965 in Buffalo, MN to Curtis Morrill and Judith M. Toth Petersen. He married Rudy Forquer on March 31, 2000 in Carthage, IL. She preceded him in death on February 25, 2019.

Todd was a graduate of Millica, MN High School. He worked as a farm hand most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by a daughter; Monica (Jason) Maloney of Augusta, IL, a son, Andy Yenney of Mississippi, 2 grandsons, Mike Maloney of Macomb, IL and Brian Maloney of Augusta, IL, 2 brothers Tim Petersen of Memphis, MO and Terry Petersen of Missouri and a niece, Summer Petersen Link of Gladstone, IL and close friends Ace and Vicky Lantz, April McAfee and Bill McCarthy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of life will be held in the near future at Rudy’s Restaurant in Augusta, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
