Theresa M. "Terry" Johnson, 76, of Clayton, IL, passed away in her home comfortably and peacefully blessed on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Born November 1, 1949, in Quincy, IL, Terry was the daughter of Benjamin Lyman and Betty Theresa Welchert Johnson.

She was employed at Methode Electronics in Golden, IL, until its closure retiring in 2009. She was a beautiful, kind, caring women, that loved her family and friends.

She in survived by two sisters, Debbie (Bill) Rummenie and Connie White; a brother in law, Jim Wells; a life long friend, Ed Jarden; her nieces and nephews, Meagan Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Heather (Brent) Bockenfeld, and Alison (Steve) Clark, Jason (Dacia) Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Shawn Stewart, Jeremy Rummenie, Anthony, Jessie Wells, and Desiree (Brandon) Epping; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ben Johnson and Phil Johnson; and a sister, Cindy Wells.

Terry was cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
