Sharon Davis

   Sharon K. Davis, 74, of Loraine, died at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Golden Good Shepherd Home.
   Born June 1, 1949, in Battle Creek, MI., Sharon was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy Irene Moss Elsie. She married Terry Davis on January 2, 1968, in Quincy. He survives.
   Sharon was a homemaker raising her children until 1990 when she went to work as a registered nurse. In 2002, she felt called to serve the Lord. She loved leading people to Christ and her greatest joy came from listening and helping people. She became a pastor in 2010 and continued serving and helping others until her passing.
   Survivors in addition to her husband are her children, Rob (Judy) Davis of Camp Point, IL., and their children, Miranda (Brandon) Obert and Madeline Davis, Susie Davis Craig Marchand of Golden, IL., and her children, Ivory Board, Jack Marchand, Noah Marchand, and Zeb Maas, Bill (Becky) Davis of Mt. Sterling, IL., and their daughter, Josie, and Chad (Toni) Davis of Hamilton, IL., and their children, Kayla (Harley) Malmgren, Taylor (Kara) Davis, Garrett Davis, Kate Diveney, Blake Miller, and Bryce Miller, 11 great-grandchildren; her brothers, David (MaryLou) Elsie Sr., Quincy, Clinton Shephard, Hannibal, MO., and Donald (Judy) Shephard, Payson, IL.; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.
   Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. Burial will follow at Mounds Cemetery near Timewell, IL.
   Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
   Memorials may be made to the Glory Worship Center.
