Sandra Martin

Sandra Kay Martin, 81, of Plymouth, IL passed away at 10:59 am Saturday October 11, 2025 at Wesley Village in Macomb, IL.

She was born on November 22, 1943 in Carthage, IL to Virgil and Dorothy Beck Lemley. She was united in marriage to Larry W. Martin on June 30, 1962 in Tennessee, IL. He survives. Sandra was a 1961 graduate of Plymouth High School, She employed at Walmart in Macomb, IL for 32 years, she enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, camping and side by side riding.

Along with her husband Larry, she is survived by 4 sons; Kurt (Betty) Martin of Tennessee, IL, Mike (Diana) Martin of Elvaston, IL, Chris (Pam) Martin of Tuscumbia, AL and Troy (Michelle) Martin of Fowler, IL, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Bob (Peggy) Lemley and Larry (Carol) Lemley both of Carthage, IL and a sister-in-law, Jackie Lemley of Monmouth, IL.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matt Martin, 2 sisters, Pat Kemp and Sharon Londrie and 2 brothers, Jerry Lemley and his wife Marilyn and Gene Lemley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday October 15, 2025 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL with Rev. Mark Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery in Augusta, IL. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth American Legion Post # 912.

The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements
