Richard A. "Rick" Winters

Richard A. “Rick” Winters, 79, of Plymouth, IL, passed away at 7:43 pm Monday, May 4, 2026, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

He was born on April 23, 1947, in Macomb, IL, to Eugene M. and Frances E. McDaniel Winters.

Rick was a 1966 graduate of Plymouth High School and then served his country in the United States Navy. After returning home, he assisted his family on the Winters family farm.

He is survived by a brother, Randy (Karen) Winters of Plymouth, IL, a nephew, Jordan Winters of Macomb, IL, a niece, Jessalynn Winters of Pekin, IL, a great-niece, Madison Winters of Adair, IL, and a brother-in-law Kenton Hoyt of Plymouth, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janet Hoyt.

Cremation has been accorded. A private family graveside service will be held at Rosemont Cemetery in Plymouth, IL. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth Old Settlers or the Plymouth Circle Community Center.

The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL, is handling arrangements.
