Lyman Lambert

Lyman Louie Lambert, 85, of Plymouth, IL died at 10:00 pm Sunday January 16, 2022 at his home in Plymouth.

He was born on January 22, 1936 in Augusta, IL to Louis and Gladys Rust Lambert. He married Donna Ewing on December 24, 1955 in Plymouth, IL. She preceded him in death on December 21, 2007.

Lyman had been employed at the Plymouth Elevator and Macomb Concrete Products until retiring. He enjoyed spending his time in his garage working on lawnmowers, weed eaters or anything else that needed fixing and owned and  maintained several rental properties in Plymouth for many years.

He is survived by a son Randy Lambert of Quincy, IL, a brother, Floyd Lambert of Augusta, IL a sister, Jerrylee Beeler of Macon, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, a son, Darwin Lambert 3 sisters, 3 brothers and his special friend, Norma Gooding.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday January 21, 2022 at the Plymouth Circle Community Center (former Plymouth Methodist Church) in Plymouth, IL by Rev. Tom Spain. Burial will be in Rosemont cemetery in Plymouth. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 Thursday at the Plymouth Circle Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to Rosemont cemetery.
