Lois Ann Asbridge of Quincy, (formerly of Camp Point and Fort Myers, FL.) died at 11:20 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, at Bickford Cottage in Quincy.
Born August 12, 1935, in Pekin, IL., Lois was the daughter of Arthur R. and Mary E. Bishop Brecher Sr. She married Robert L. Asbridge Sr. on March 4, 1955, in Groveland, IL. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2021.
Mrs. Asbridge was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point. She loved to sing, especially in church, and had a beautiful soprano voice. In her retirement years, she was a member of the Plantation Belles and would take part in the annual musicals that were put on at their retirement community. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Lynn Farlow (Gary), Fowler; two sons, Robert Lee Asbridge Jr. (Deb), Corrales, NM, and Alan Dean Asbridge, Quincy; seven grandchildren, Scott Farlow (Shannon), Greg Farlow (Ramsie), Amanda Cain (Matt), Matthew Asbridge (Katie), Abby Schieferdecker (Tyler), Corey Broshious, and Candi Dean; ten great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Rowell; and her brother, Arthur Brecher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Mrs. Asbridge was cremated. Private service will be held at a later date.
