Linda R Waller

Linda R. Waller, 70, of Augusta, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:45 pm Monday April 10, 2023 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born on October 21, 1952 in Burlington, IA to Frank and Gwendolin Badger Yaley. She married Dannie Waller on May 23, 1981 in Stronghurst, IL. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1983.

Linda was a graduate of Media High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. She had been employed as an office clerk at Western Illinois University for 40 years. She was a member and secretary of the Augusta Assembly of God Church in Augusta, IL and was also an active member of the Augusta Lions Club.

She is survived by a sister, Barbara (Donald) Wuebbles of Urbana, IL, 3 nephews, Ryan (Brie) Wuebbles of Sparks, NV, Kevin (Jennifer) Wuebbles of Mt Prospect, IL, Alan (Jaclyn) Wuebbles of Saratoga Springs, UT, 3 great-nephews, Landon, Braydon and Cole Wuebbles, 2 great-nieces, Abigail and Jillian Wuebbles, 2 step sons, Sean and Kyle Waller, a cousin, John Yaley and 2 very special friends Patsy and Jerry Spratt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an aunt, Gwendolyn Yaley and a cousin, Jim Yaley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Augusta Assembly of God Church at 605 Railroad St. in Augusta, IL with Rev. Patsy Spratt and Rev. Jerry Spratt officiating. Burial will be in Stronghurst cemetery in Stronghurst, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of services at the Augusta Assembly of God Church in Augusta. Memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Assembly of God Church.
