Judy Bolton

Judy Bolton, 79, of Bowen, IL went to be with Jesus at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday October 26, 2025 at the Golden Good Shepherd Home in Golden, IL.

Judy was born on February 16, 1946 in Santa Ana, CA to Tom and Betty (Taylor) Beagles. She was united in marriage to Charles Bolton on July 7, 1966 at the Golden Point Christian Church in Hamilton, IL.

Judy was a 1963 graduate of Hamilton High School. She was employed at the Bowen Banking Center in Bowen, IL serving as the Executive Vice-President until her retirement in 2016. Judy was a member of the Bowen Christian Church in Bowen, IL where she taught Sunday School, VBS, Kid Zone and was active in the ladies church organizations. Judy’s most cherished times were those that she spent with her family.

A devoted wife, Judy loved her husband for 59 wonderful years – a love that truly stood the test of time. As a mother to Tia and Todd, and proud Mawmaw to Taylor, Kailey, Remi, and Hunter, she poured her heart into her family. They were her joy, her pride, and her greatest blessings. Judy’s relationship with Jesus was at the center of everything she did. Her life was a beautiful example of kindness, service, and strong faith.

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Charles and their two children, Tia (Richard) Heppner of Geneseo, IL and Todd (Jessica) Bolton of Bowen, IL, and her four grandchildren, Taylor Heppner, Kailey (Cole) Verbrugge, Remi Bolton, Hunter Bolton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Beagles.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 1, 2025 at the Bowen Christian Church in Bowen, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday October 31, 2025 at the Bowen Christian Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, IL. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the Bowen Christian Church or the Golden Good Shepherd Home.
