Jo Ann Johnson

Jo Ann Johnson, 74, of Plymouth, IL died at 2:54 am Friday September 2, 2022 at the Macomb Post Acute Care Center in Macomb, IL following a brief illness.

She was born on December 7, 1947 in Galesburg, IL to Vernon and Isabelle Phillips Wooldridge.

Jo Ann was a graduate of Plymouth High School. She retired after serving many years in many capacities with the Community State Bank of Plymouth. Jo Ann was of the Lutheran Faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Jennifer Teel (Travis Bunnell) of Plymouth, IL and Amanda (Scott) Sullivan of Macomb, IL, a grandson, Brady Sullivan, a sister, Carolyn Newberg of Bloomington, IL, a friend, Scott Worl and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Logan Bunnell and a sister, Mary Sue Griswold.

Cremation has been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday September 9, 2022 at the Plymouth Circle Community Center (former Plymouth Methodist Church) in Plymouth, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth Old Settlers Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
