Jason H. Hapke, 60, of Maywood, MO, formerly of Clayton, IL, passed away at 3:37 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Born July 15, 1965, in Quincy, Jason was a son of Henry Hapke and Delberta Singley Hapke. He married Tammy Renea Morgan on November 12, 1988, in Lewistown, MO. She survives.
Jason was an avid motocross enthusiast and raced in the AMA circuit in the A class. He was also a devoted dog lover.
In addition to his wife, Tammy Hapke, survivors include his father, Henry Hapke; two sisters, Jacki Fields (Steve) and Traci Hapke; his beloved dog and best friend, Blazer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delberta Hapke, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, at Mounds Cemetery in Timewell, IL. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Crum, Darren Davis, Bear Roberts, Kaleb Dinklage, Roy Peters, Anthony Henrick, Cory Morgan, Ronnie Morgan, Jim Henrick, Ray Morgan, John Jagger, and Donnie Martin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
