Gary Hetzel

Gary Lynn Hetzel II, 46, of Plymouth, IL passed away peacefully at 7:20 am Sunday,

May 22, 2022 at his home in Plymouth.

He was born on May 21, 1976 in Moline, IL to Gary and Patricia Hahn Hetzel.

Gary was a graduate of Urbana High School in Urbana, Ohio and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was employed as a customer service representative at Dot Foods in Mt, Sterling, IL. He enjoyed fishing, construction, and woodworking with his father.

He is survived by his father, Gary Hetzel of Plymouth, IL, two sisters; Gina Spellious (Darren) of Orion, IL, Amanda Huxtable (John) of Virden, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Cremation has been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday May 27, 2022 at the Plymouth Circle Community Center (former Plymouth Methodist Church) in Plymouth, IL by Rev. Dr. John Huxtable. Burial will follow the service at Rosemont Cemetery in Plymouth. Following the burial,

a luncheon will be held at the Plymouth Circle Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.

The Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL is handling arrangements.
