Doris M. Wierschem, 80, of Quincy, died at 4:16 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021, at her home.
Born August 19, 1940, in Teresita, Oklahoma, Doris was the daughter of Alvin and Dora Huntsman Keys. She married Earl Wierschem Sr. on January 17th, 1970, in Las Vegas, NV. He survives.
Doris fostered many children in her home throughout her life.
Survivors in addition to her husband are her children, Donna Reynolds-Chitwood, Seymour, MO., Earl Wierschem Jr., Quincy, and Chevey "Jessica" Wierschem, Quincy; eight grandchildren, Dalton Wierschem, DiVonta Washington, Darrius Washington, DreShawn Washinton, Zariah Wierschem, and Piper Wierschem, all of Quincy, Jami Miller of Frisco,CO., and Hunter Reynolds of Joplin, MO.; two brothers, Jim (Lisa) Keys, Simi Valley, CA., and Ted (Robin) Keys, Canyon County, CA.; and her forever son in law, Danny Mayberry of Joplin, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Debra Reynolds; two sisters, Etta Mae "Berniece" Huntsman and Betty Sue Hagins; and three brothers, Jerry, William, and Richard Keys.
Doris was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1 at the Quincy Memorial Park Chapel by Rev. Thomas Donavan.
