Doris M Unglesbee

      Doris Marie Unglesbee, 69, of Quincy, (formerly of Clayton) died Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her home in Quincy.
     Born May 1, 1953, in Clayton, Doris was the daughter of Harold Davis and Elizabeth Lamma. She married Roger Unglesbee on November 20, 1971, in Quincy. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2011.
     Mrs. Unglesbee had been employed at Davis Cleaver and Good Samaritan Home in Quincy. Most recently, she provided daycare in her home. She enjoyed listening to country music, visiting, and most especially cherished time with family.
     Survivors include her beloved dog, Dolly Unglesbee, her siblings, Donna Bence, Quincy, Richard (Dick) Davis (Linda), Clayton, and Jim Davis (Lenora), Quincy; a special cousin, Gerald Jake Howk, Quincy; her sisters-in-law, Mary Wickell, Quincy, and Sandy Davis, Clayton; her brother-in-law, Kenny Unglesbee (Jeannie), Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Davis, her mother, Elizabeth Lamma, her stepfather, Ulysses Deshong; three sisters, Pat Tuter, Linda Gallaher, and Connie Hicks; her brother, Ronald Davis, her brothers-in-law, Gordon Mike Tuter, Terry Gallaher, Larry Hicks, Mike Bence, and Roy Unglesbee; and her sisters-in-law, Bertha Davis, Barb Owens, and Betty Lynch.
     Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton by Matt Smith.
     A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the Hamilton Funeral Home on Clayton.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton Funeral Home to help cover expenses.
