Donald Taute

Donald Lee Taute, 77, of Golden, IL, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Golden Good Shepherd Home.

Born on October 8, 1948, in Quincy, IL, Donald was the son of Edward and Arlene Taute.

Survivors include his brother, Steven Taute of Decatur, IL; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Arlene; brother James Taute; sister-in-law Patricia Taute and Debra Taute

A visitation and service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family sincerely appreciates the many expressions of love and support during this difficult time and respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Steven Taute.
