Connie A Boling

     Connie Ann Boling, 63, of rural Camp Point, was born March 1, 1960, to Norbert and Vera Zanger. 
     She graduated from Central High School in 1978 and married Rocky Boling on September 22, 1978. 
     In recent years, she was employed by the local union 231 through Rees Construction and S.M. Wilson and retired in January 2023. Connie passed away peacefully at her home on January 14, 2024. 
     To know Connie was to know love. She was always the first in line to lend a helping hand, give a shoulder to cry on, or celebrate accomplishments. Though she had no children of her own, she loved her many nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, caring for her beloved pets, and even singing the occasional karaoke tune. 
     Connie was preceded in death by her husband and parents.  
     She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Gary (Anita) Zanger, Payson, IL., Krista (Greg) White, Quincy, IL., Kent (Vicky) Zanger, Liberty, IL., Marcia (Dan Mart) Doughan, Junction City, OR., Theresa (Rick) Breneman, Camp Point, Sandra (John) Toumbs, Montrose, CO., Lloyd (Michelle) Zanger, Quincy, and Judy (Rob) Davis, Camp Point; her sisters in law, Candy (Ronnie) Wright, Clayton, IL., and Peggy (James) Neisen, Fowler, IL.; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece and two great-great nephews. 
     Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Scott Snider at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Camp Point. 
     Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 PM at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. 
     Memorial contributions may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice or Camp Callahan.
