Carolyn R. Cooley, 79, of Timewell, IL, passed away at 8:55 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at her home.

Born July 7, 1946, in Buckhorn, IL, Carolyn was the daughter of Howard and Alberta Icenogle Beebe. She was united in marriage to Elvin Cooley on November 12, 1986. He survives.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her children, Jeff Buskirk (Lisa), Melissa Logsdon (James), Diana Lord (Steven), Christal York (Adam), Ashley Hoss (Chuck), and Josh Cooley; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Janet, one brother, and two sisters.

Cremation has been accorded. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, at Mound Cemetery in Timewell.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Hamilton Funeral Home in Clayton is handling the arrangements.
