Glenn Bunte, 87, of Quincy, IL., (formerly of Camp Point, IL.) died at 10:16 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Born June 29, 1931, in Columbus, IL., Glenn was a son of Walter and Sylva Anna Heubner Bunte. He married Deloris Nicolai August 11, 1963, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Coatsburg. She survives.
Glenn was a graduate of Maplewood High School in Camp Point and Gem City Business College. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clayton.
Mr. Bunte farmed in Adams County as well as raised many dairy cows. He later worked at Morton Seed in Bowen, Baucom Trucking in Camp Point, and finally as the environmental and regulatory administrator for FS in Carthage.
Survivors in addition to his wife is his son, Daryl Bunte (Cheryl), Hannibal, MO; a grandson, Adam Bunte, Pillager, MN.; a great-grandson, Tucker Bunte, Pillager, MN.; a brother in law, Wayne Nicolai, Quincy; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, Marvin Louis Bunte.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point. by Rev. Kirk Cunningham. Burial will follow at Graymount Cemetery, Coatsburg, IL.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
