Glendora A. Dieterle, 85, of Camp Point, died at 12:53 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2019 at her home.
Born February 16, 1934, in Golden, Glendora was a daughter of Henry T. and Daisey M. Gieker Buss. She married Donald R. "Sock" Dieterle on June 30, 1956, in Golden. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2013.
Glendora was a graduate of Clayton High School. She was a member of the Clayton American Legion Auxillary, Alpha109 Order of Eastern Star, Shrinerettes, and the South Side Boat Club in Quincy.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Dieterle, Clayton, and Ryan Dieterle, Camp Point; two grandchildren, Darin Dieterle, Clayton, and Deidre Dieterle, Quincy; a great granddaughter, Maylee, Quincy; one brother and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Willard and Gilbert Buss.
Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the South Side Cemetery in Clayton by Rev. Sheila Kelly.
Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
Memorials may be made to Benjamin Masonic Lodge or the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
